Thoriq Madani is band from Jakarta Indonesia. a crazy band to dance wildly and shake the backbone of fast-paced Ska, Rocksteady and Early Reggae.
Thoriq Madani formed in 2006. in early music career Thoriq Madani taking influences from the British 2tone movement, but then over time Thoriq Badani taking influences from Early Reggae artist, Rocksteady and Jamaican Ska legends. take the very best of 60's and 70's reggae-the deep grooves of The Harry J Allstars and The Upsetters along with the melodic sensibilities of John Holt and Desmond Dekker. Together these sounds create the potent mix that is Thoriq Madani-a sound that is electrifying and undeniable. Live, the band is the ultimate soul shakedown, with deep, in-your-face grooves that attract big and diverse crowds.
Thoriq Madani mold this into their own brand of fuel injected Ska, Rocksteady and Early Reggae. The Band together after demand for more shows and new music. Clubs, Colleges and festivals can expect crowds all dancing to the positive vibrations of Thoriq Madani. With a new power charged line-up in tow. KW in vocals, Henry in lead guitar, Pupuy in bass, Adex in rhythm guitar, Adnan in drums and Peter in keyboards.
